![]() Here is how to take the R3000 apart, there is a screw in the top front middle holding the lid latch. Ran 3 manual cleans and everything worked out great. ![]() The P600 has ink in the lines and dampers already, the P600 is well wrapped with packaging cling wrap to prevent drying out. I just unscrewed the ink feed lines from the cartridge holder on the R3000 and the P600 (have a lot of paper towels under it to catch the ink), removed the R3000 damper assembly with the feed lines connected, and used the new P600 one. You need to clip off the black connector with the 3 wires from the original R3000 damper assembly and solder it to the 3 wires on the P600 assembly. If you are technical it takes about an hour to make the change ( I just did 2) with great success! They are new, just removed from P600 printers as the garment printing industry uses different print head feed mechanisms. This P600 system from the cartridge holder to the print head (ink feed lines and damper assembly) is identical to the R3000. The following link is for a complete P600 ink feed system from cartridge holder to dampers (this is where the MK/PK switching valve is located).
